Emergency Lighting

WJ Fire can supply and install a variety of emergency lights and illuminated exit signs to ensure the safety of staff and customers in the event of a loss of power.

The reason for emergency lighting in your premise is to ensure you have at all times safely lit escape routes.  If you have an incident and the building loses mains power, the emergency lighting will come on and offer  low level lighting for safe evacuation.  The lighting should last at least 3 hours to allow the building to be evacuated fully.

We can survey, supply and install a variety of emergency lighting solutions, including maintained and non-maintained bulkhead fittings, to the current British standard BS5266.

We offer the annual 3 hour discharge test.  Also W J Fire can offer a monthly test for your company, which must be carried out in accordance with BS5266.
